You will not be disappointed with a visit to San Diego Zoo!

As one of the top zoos in the world, the San Diego Zoo is nothing short of amazing. Perfectly nestled next to Balboa Park, the zoo incorporates all of the beautiful landscape and plants that decorate its surrounding neighborhood, making you feel as though you truly are walking through a jungle. Just imagine your child having a face-to-face experience with Paul Donn, the Gorilla pack leader and overall socialite. Or perhaps watch as your kids gaze in amazement in the underwater viewing area as the polar bears dive for fish, something most children will only ever visualize on screen. The zoo creates these beautiful life moments and brings the entire family closer to nature.

The zoo is very stroller friendly with elevator or ramp options throughout the park and changing tables in every bathroom. There are restaurant options and snack stands through the park as well, the most credited dining experience goes to Albert's, located near the Benchley Plaza. The park also has a very large parking lot that is free, of course, peak hours such as weekends tend to fill up and make the park congested. It is advised to arrive early, the animals are all out and playful in the morning so it's the perfect time. The zoo website also offers a "plan your day" tool that shows daily activities and events happening, check out their site for up-to-date details!
